and Salted with Suspense

Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my author website! Although I'm not a social worker or a therapist, I tend to write about contemporary social issues ~ with plenty of adventure thrown into the mix. Life in the West is the best, in my humble opinion, and that's where my books are set. ;-) Check them out here!

Action-Packed, Hope-Filled Stories, True & Almost...

Welcome to my story world where readers can join me on journeys of love and faith with a bit (or maybe a whole lot!) of suspense on the side. My stories tackle tough issues head-on, but I strive for happy endings. Even when the path forward is not easy, we earthlings cherish hope that all will end well, whether in everyday life or in fiction.

My favorite scripture verse and my wish for you is Romans 15:13. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

"Your books are not for the faint of heart, but the eloquence and powerful words are what keep people like me on the edge of their seats, turning page after page to see what happens next." PF

University of Arizona student Kasenia Clarke knows where she’s headed in life and how to get there.

But falling under a charismatic professor’s spell was not part of her plan. When a romantic weekend getaway to his isolated ranch reveals his perverse agenda, Kasenia finds herself a prisoner of a madman.

I finished Shadow Ranch last night! I could hardly put it down during the day. Made myself wait till bedtime and didn't want it to end! You are a master at what you do. Thank you for sharing it with the world!! GK

Kasenia Clarke escaped Shadow Ranch months ago, but when Trent Duran asks her to visit Crimson Arches, his neighboring ranch, she hesitates.

She adores Trent and wants to see where he “hangs his hat,” yet she dreads going anywhere near the abusive polygamous cult. Then an unexpected connection with another “plyg” community changes everything, and she jumps in with both feet, unaware of the peril that awaits her down by the border.

God has gifted you with the ability to open our eyes to hard things but always keep us grounded in God’s goodness!  NB
